I have a modified xbox with avaluanch dashboard. I have also downloaded a Kai network program. If I have the kai network program on my modified xbox, do I need any connection with my pc to make it work ?

you still need to run the kai engine on your computer. With the kai on your xbox, you can control it there, and not have to get up and go run to your pc.
If you have a linksys router, you can upgrade the firmware that was just released with kai engine running on your router, so you wouldnt need a pc.
