I've heard reports of occasional freezing when activating voice chat (note that no changes have been made to this feature for over a week). If you can work out how to reproduce this issue every time then I'll certainly take a look.

Well I'm using a build from the 2nd, and I don't get this problem, even when I enable/disable voice rapidly.

Did the other party enable you before you clicked again?

Hey runtime, have you had a chance to look at this one? I've seen this
frequently with the 11/30+ builds... Would love to see it work reliably. If there is any debug logging that can be enabled, I'd provide you some dumps..

Sure, check out the sticky topic 'Lastest CVS and Bugs'.

Any suggestions for a debug level? (Obviously higher than 0). Also, I hope the debug output stream is properly flushing, as the box is hanging hard when this happens (requires a manual reboot).. I'll see if I can generate some logs (dp-azureus, can you try this as well?)

thanks!

debug level 0 generates the most complete log file you can provide, for kai debugging purposes any value higher than 0 is not very useful.

A pity to see, that such an obvious and serious bug is still in the most recent CVS of XBMC after about two months of time. Sad

Have fun,

freefall.

"Serious"? - do you these guys getting paid for this? You make it sound like they're IBM or MS or something..
