AppleX5 chip

So, I was on when Kai finally started, and was one of those users who had everything set up o.k. and had grenn lights across the board but couldn't find any servers. Anyway, i booted up my box the next day, only to find I could not load any "xbe's" directly off the HD. after trying a few things, I loaded a different dash and all was fine again. I loaded up kai again with the same results as before, and later, my box again would not load any HD "xbe's". Now, it seems the dash swap thing isn't doing it either (i've tried several). sorry for the long wided explanation, but I figure any info is good info.
