More of less every time I enter a game on my xbox the pc xlink GUI will crash without an error. I have re-installed both the GUI and winPcap.
Windows XP
Static IP on xbox
I see more people are having the same sort of problem.. Any idea? |

Nobody?
If the developer have a version with debugging, recording what happens I am willing to give it a go, and return the log file to you.
I would love to get this working, especially with support for Kai inside xbmc. |

OK, here's an update for whoever is interested.. I finally got it working:
I changed the xlink config to run engine only (dashboard)
Opened a port for UPD traffic to the pc running xlink.. (i did port 30000)
set KaiAccept to ALL
(and username / password in config file ofcourse)
Mine looks like this:
kaiPort=30000
kaiDeepPort=0
kaiAccept=ALL
kaiTimeout=NEVER
kaiNIC=0
kaiLaunch=ENGINE
Xlink now works GREAT in XBMC.. and xlink no longer crashes (so far anyway). |

I used this method and the UI stopped crashing on me. I had the same exact issues as you did. Thanks for the tip. But i still can't see games. I've been having wireless issues for a week, you can see my other posts all over the board.
I am able to use xbmc to control KAI, i would think that this means that kai can see my xbox right.. so do have some other issue then?!? |

Seven5,
I had problems seeing games aswell, but when I opened a port in my firewall it started working.
