Links 2004 Players - UK - Anyone wanna play?

I have read that Links 2004 only works well for players in the "Local" area of one and another..

If anyone in the UK has this game and wants to play today sometime thats the 1st of June then reply Smile

I really wanna get this game working on xlink, its never worked before and i think its becuase of the location of the other player Smile

Does anyone know what kind of bandwidth this game needs? If its LOW I will host a game in a private room at 9ish, if not, someone with a higher than 128 upload do so Cool

i think im right by saying all xsn sports games have a ping limit of 200,
maybe it was 120, but XSN have a ping limit,
with golf its not a problem , well i never have had 1 anyway , even playing people in the states

I have tried to play r0wdy in the avalaunch team and even with his 80 ping, we cant get a game going Sad

An anonymous source told us today that all of the XSN titles so far have a ping limit of about 110-120ms. If you are playing a linkgame through tunneling software like XLink(info) (or any other) and your opponent lags over 120ms the game will die.

I'd like to try with you jmel, we would almost certainly be 100- 120 ping with each other or maybe higher, but its worth ago

EDIT: damn ive just realised its England Vs Japan tonight @ 8pm , so anyone up for earlier on tonight

yeah, ive known about the xsn games, but have had good luck with rallisport 2 and topspin... links is a bear tho.

OK, the room is there, its in:

Xbox/Sports/Links 2004...

Should be called "Links UK" or something, look out for me MKJones Smile

The MAX players is 6, I guessed that would be enuf Smile

Remember, this should be UK only! As I have never got this game working before becuase of location issues Wink

If someone with MORE than a 128k upload will host thats great Smile

if not, I will try.. im sure we can work this out however Wink
