Im reading some forum and trying to fix this problem but im having a hard time understanding what to do. My problem is when i load up xlink kai on xbmc i only see three games (which i do not play at all) and im trying to play halo2. im logged in and the only thing highlighted is arenas and enter but the add button isnt (just to give u a visual) halo 2 doesnt show up so i did a search and many forums told me i should update the cvs. How do i update it? where is it? im very lost and confuse please help me step by step will help alot thanks.

well, what they mean by updating the CVS is redownloading the source code. However, i doubt your compiling the application yourself. So since your probably not, just look in a few places for a new build. heres one -> xbmc.org. take a look.

Make sure you have a sigle player saved game thats how Kai looks for your games

Not true. If you've ever LOADED the game on your XBox - that is enough.

hey everyone thanks for the help, i downloaded the new cvs source and its a bunch of .dll files now my question is where do these files go? in which folder im trying my best to find it but no luck. please help thanks.

sounds like you got just the codecs Wink Afraid your gonna need a little more than to get this thing working man. What you need is a full version of xbmc. Usually its a file with a date such as xbmc 12-24-04 or something to that effect. Once you have this file take all the files in it and ftp them into your xbmc folder on your box. Overwrite everything and you should be good to go Cool

You will need to compile source - that requires Visual Studio .NET 2003 and the XDK. Both of which will not be linked to here unless you want to be banned.

Best to just grab off the XBins server.
