Problem with install

Ok everytime I try to install "xlinkkaievo7.exe" i get a error message that says "unable to update windows installer", so i went and downloaded windows installer 2.0 but when i go to install that it says that "windows installer 2.0 is already installed on your computer" any idea how i can get rid of this problem? OS - Windows ME

You sure you downloaded it for the right OS?

uhh im not sure cuz when i go to the download page, the program says

XP/2000/98se/98 < i just kinda assumed that ME was included in this, since there is no other windows download thing...

and i know windows ME is a joke thanx. lol

i used to have ME a while back Embarassed

that POS crashed every 10 seconds...ran one program and had to reboot...waste of $$
