i am using a wireless card to connect to the router, but i did connect it with a wire and it still did not work.

Have you done some silly port 3074 port-forwarding on your router? Remove it if so..

I said port 3074 forward - I realise you've portforwarded 30000 already.

And for the rest of our tests, please have the PC wired.

You sure you had a game that was actively searching for games? That's the only way Kai's gonna detect any consoles.

Tried uninstalling Norton too?

yes, i was in the system link screen where it searches for games. But i have not tried uninstallling norton, but i disabled it.

Disabling Norton does not mean it will allow your XBox to communicate with your PC - ports REMAIN blocked with some software firewalls even when you disable them. That's why I'm suggesting to uninstall it.

kaiNIC=2 was when you were using the wireless card. Now that you're using a wire, it's a different card. Make sure it's set on the correct NIC in the Kai Config. Tool.
