The PS2 arena seems to have no one inside playing...
I have tried Midnight Club 2 (I need to "join game" so that my PS2 can appear on the KAI.. is it suppose to be like that?) And it keeps saying "searching for games" is it because there is no one in the arena? It wont go to a different screen.. It just says "searching for games".. Is that right? Or it should jump into another screen..
My computer and PS2 is connected onto a router.. Is that ok?
Or does my PS2 has to be connected onto my compter, then to adsl?
Few games questions..
1.Battle Gear 3.. a game which i got is a backup. There is only online play..Is there a way for it to play as LAN game?
2.Socom II (which I am going to buy soon) it has LAN play right? So you could see other people's game on the computer or on the ps2?
3.Am I allowed to open new games? |

its probably because there was no one hosting a game.
1. dont know
2. yes that works fine, apart from Pal and Ntsc versions can not play each other
3, Yes, if you want to host a game, just go right ahead,
the way i play on xlink is i look for a game where people are playing and then i go and look for games, if theres no one hosting i host one. |

How can you host a game???
In the PS2 or on the computer?
When I try to create one in KAI it says it can not create~
It says that the arena can not do that
Don't get this... |

To host a game? Simple.
Log in to Kai. Turn PS2 on. Go load your game. Get over to the system-link section and wait there.
Now head over to Arena mode in Kai, then Playstation 2. Choose your game's arena and have a look out for players. Talk to them in the chat area (click the arrow on the right), and work out who will host hte game on the PS2 and who will be joining. You don't need to make a private arena at all, unless you want ot password it and stop unwanted people from coming in.
The way Arena's work are just that. If 50 people are in the ATV2 room, and 5 people are hosting, with 45 others either playing or looking for games, your game will list all the available servers for you to join on your tv.
It's really not as complicated as I make it sound. I'm not sure about PS2 games, but with many XBox games you get a list of servers to choose from. This is why Arena mode truly reigns over other tunnels traditional "rooms" mode, where each time you finish a game, you must head back to the PC and switch rooms etc. With Arenas you can just sit back, quit your game, and choose from any other in the list |

also make sure your ps2 is in the perfomacne tab and is configed right |
I can see my ps2 on the performance tab whenever I force join LAN games.. As I my computer and PS2 are connected onto the router.. Will that work? Or does it have to be PS2 connected to PC then to the adsl? |
