I'm not writing one because i cant get it working but i'd appreciate if someone could do one please, whether you have to be on dhcp or static , whatever its doing my head in now. Get failed configure all the time now as well. its a pain.

If it has been tested to 100% i and several others would like a guide, we can all get them working over the network but not on this.

cheers

EDIT:

Here's how to get your xbox emulator to auto configure successfull in kai , with either dhcp or static.

Open your emulator and go to network options to assign your xbox an ip
give your xbox 10.252.137.2xx
subnet 255.255.255.0
gateway 10.252.137.201

exit emulator
start kai
run emulator
and should hopefully see in your performance tab , xbox successful

Not quite - the IP address your xbox needs is based on its MAC address - and is asssigned by Kai. Simply set your xbox to get an IP address from a DHCP server (ie in evox, turn Setup Network to Yes).

Then you will get a 10.252.X.Y IP address, and the box should get configured sucessfully by Kai.

thats true but to start with i didnt realise that you could get in the performance tab , kai auto configure successfull just with a dashboard.
soon as i ran the emu with the right settings , when it booted into the emulator it said configured successfull.
Tested after that and it now gives me configured in the dashboard.
I have always been dhcp with my box . it was giving me the ip but not successful configure, i had to switch my pc's ip to dhcp to auto find ip , which has given me an obsure ip , but who cares , the emu's are running.

Thanks for waiting for me to reply to my own post and then decide to post that its slightly wrong

Thanks for automatically making anything you ask for in the future become an utter non-priority ...

Also, with the xport emu's

If your xbox is getting it's ip from kai in the dash don't manualy put in any network info for the xport emus and they will use the same DHCP IP Kai gave them. This makes it much easyer. just write down the ip your have in your dash, then msg the person you are playing that ip and they can put it in for the host ip and then you can play Smile
