Is your network reachable? Yes
Are you using a port forward? Yes
Is your console being detected? Yes
My setup is PC (upstairs) connected to Linksys router (wrtgs). Downstairs, Xbox connected via microsoft wireless adapter. I can play fine through the pc. I can SEE all the games through XBMC but when I go to connect, nothing.

I think the problem is your wireless adaptor. try hard wiring your xbox into the network. |

Cant do it. Xbox is downstairs with no connection option possible. I'm sure there are other people with similar setups. I can still connect through the pc which seems strange. ANY help would be appreciated on this. |

ok try setting the wireless nic in kai config.
if not have you followed section G here http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/?go=quickstart
usually not seeing games is a firewall issue if all else seems correct. |

If You are running the software on your router you need to tell it in the config file to look at Eth1. Kai station cant do this yet but running kaid can.
# SniffDevice : NIC to sniff for console traffic (eth0, ethX, ...). Will be used
# for packet injection too.
# Ex.: eth0 (default), en0 (Mac OSX),
SniffDevice = eth1
Also remember to edit it with VI because notepad screws the config. |

Alright, REALLY strange now. After messing with stuff a good part of the night, I got it to work through XBMC. HERE is the problem. The ONLY game I can currently connect to is Halo 2. I have tried Counterstrike, Rainbow six 3, Star Wars Battlefront and it will NEVER find anything.
ONLY Halo 2. Any idea's??? |

Can you go to yoru PC and check the version of Kai Engine - should be 7.0.5.7 as of today (click magnifying glass).
Your wireless adapter should do MAC cloning though - if it does, you can probably just remove the wireless relationship in the Kai Config. Tool. |

I do have 7.0.5.7 running. I am using the microsoft wireless adapter.
How would I know if the adapter could do mac cloning?
Btw- In XBMC, I noticed another strange thing. Just for the hell of it, I would go to a game with 6 or 7 players in it (Rainbow 6 for ex).
I would SEE players but when I launch the game, still nothing. So, I
tried to add ALL the people in the room to my friend list.
When I went to my friend list...it would show ALL those users as OFFLINE!
When I would go back to the game room, they were all (obviously) online. |
