Hi Guys,

My xbox has a driect connection to my pc via a cross-over cable, I was wondering if I need to forward my ports? My xbox configures fine (performance tab) but my xbox cannot find any games and when I add someone to my contacts they always appear offline!

Thanks for the help.

When you add someone to your list, they will appear offline until they add you back. It's on purpose - a privacy feature.

To check if you need to forward ports, go into arena, ask people if they can see your ping. If they can, you're fine. If not, you need to 4ward.

How would I go about forwarding ports when using a direct connection (ICS)?

Cheers
