Hey guys,
Since I'm part of M.A.P (Map Alliance Project) and I still see a lot of questions/misunderstandings/problems regarding the homebrew maps in RB6, I thought it to be good to repost the link to the official M.A.P website.
That would be the place to come to when having questions regarding the homebrew maps or the XR8D Map Manager (crucial when toying with homebrew maps). Ofcourse regarding the Map Manager, the XR8D website is also a prime spot to get your problems fixed.
But anyways, to return to the M.A.P website, here it is: http://www.r63.net
We'll discuss posting our FAQ in a topic here (when it's possible to make it a sticky) to enhance the ways to inform you guys of any developments/problems and solutions.

Thanks for the sarcasm ... I hadn't had my dose yet today.
It just says when you download the Map Manager that is does not work with Avalaunch.
To quote the site:

Info: The easiest way to update your maps.Tutorial is available Here DOES NOT WORK WITH AVALAUNCH (YET)
|
A simple "no" would be sufficient as their has been no communication regarding the map manager and Avalaunch compatibility issue. |

Works fine for me with Avalaunch 48.4. Never tried it with the latest version as I find 48.4 the most stable on my box. Read the bottom of the FAQ in Map Manager where it tells you about the : in the path. |

Ya, if you get a failed. Just click install again and it will work.
In the next version of ava the problem will be gone. |
