Headset survey

Well im just wondering how many of you kai players have headsets....
I would like to know because im thinkin about buyin one and will if alot of people have them...

I have a broken one and a working one Razz

I'm also buying a PC mic soon, to use while playin gHalo and any other games with no MS Communicator support.

Also, does anyone have the one that comes with R63? And if so, how does it differ from the M$ one?

is there a way to purchase the headset without buying XBOXlive kit?

a lot of retailers do sell it seperatly. (but im not sure if they do in singapore)

also if you break your headset, many mobile handsfree kits work, (but you need the m$ dongal)

im currently using a samsung one.

Well did you create that gif? If so man, I would love to know how in the hell it was done. Some things in life I just dont get.

Yeah I made the sig. It's pretty simple but I suck at explaining things, here I go: I just converted the video to .gif (I used Adobe Premiere, but there's lots of apps that do it I think) then opened the .gif in Adobe Imageready. Used Imageready to position the .gif, then used Photoshop to create the rest of the image - background and text etc. Then open that in Imageready, copy it into the same file as the movie, move it to the furthest back layer. Adjust the movie position to where you want it to be, and "File", "Save as Optimised".

yeah, I have the xbox live headset! It's very very nice! But I had to buy the xbox live starter kit Smile

Anyway I know that some online shps like play.com sell it separetly from the xbox live starter kit!

So, come on guys, buy the xbox live communicator headset!!!

I have the crappy mad catz controller with the plug on the bottom cause i am cheep (the sensitivity is way off) but i deal...also have a PC mic and many back up headsets cause i am always breaking thies dang things

if you plan to play online, the headset is a necessity for teamwork.. not a wishlist item.

If you dont think you need one.. you probably shouldnt be playing system link games.

Not many things Haloish do I like.. but the PLantronics Halo 2 headset is by far the best I have ever owed out of the 2 originals, 1 mobile headset, 1 wirless Logitech and the H2.

Coincidentally. they are finally making it with its own dongle.. so if you dont have a headset and choose it.. make sure you get the one with the dongle.

well, I have the ms headset which is nice, but now i've gone cordless with the logitech headset and controller, and i must say I love it.
