Ok sorry guys I'm sure you have answered this lot before, and I guess I am being stupid, but if I enter or create an arena for an xbox halo game, what and at what point should I do with the xbox? i.e. should I be in multi player - system link play and wait for a game to appear for me to join?

Thanks for any assistance in advance

Cheers

If you created the arena, you should most likely be hosting the game waiting for people to join.

So... I have gone into Halo on my Xbox, chosen Multi Player, chosen system link play, and created a game. I have then gone into XLink and have created an arena, which at the moment say's there are no sub-arenas and indeed if I change the view it says there are no players. Do I just sit tight and wait for someone to join, leaving everything set as I have just mentioned. Oh by the way the Xbox is now saying "waiting for another Xbox console"

Yup!

If you dont have luck hosting, just try joining a game insted.

Could be you have a high ping and no one wants to join your game.

Avoid creating your own arena until you can verify you can see other games or people know you are creating it. Stop once you get to the NTSC (or PAL) arena and search for games in Halo / Multiplayer / system link. If games show up, you can more than likely be seen when you create a game.
