ive heard rumors that that the further away your xbox is from your pc the lower ping you have.
mine are about 25 feet apart will this explain my low ping?
if not what does?i run on comcast high speed interner..and i have a mad catz router.

the ping kai shows isnt to your xbox so it wont make a bit of diffrence. untill you start getting into the hunderds of feet the ping will always remain the same.
the ping it shows is going to be from some remote pc to yours. and unless you have a bad cable or something like that nothing you do in your home can inprove it.
distance is not always the issue, ususaly more to do with slow routers, how many routers it has to pass through (hops) till it finds you, stuff like that.

Don't worry. Signals pass down the wires at the speed of light so 25ft is absolutely nothing. Only when you get over 500ft do you start to get signal degradation issues. High pings are caused by the infrastructure outside your house.

Will more orbitual servers make pings higher?the reason im wondering is because i play lots of games online but sometimes i cant see certain ones...
