hi, im using kai since a week and think it's great but i've a strange problem when i play topspin (the other games works well).
during online gaming i have little slow on the game and the commands dont answer immediately...u can imagine that so i cant play Sad
i tried a lot of things but can't solve this problem that seems to be produced by small loadings from the hd (i got the orange led 4 hd activities).
i tried to play the game from dvd (instead of hd) and close the kai chat and these things seems to help a little but can't solve the problem completely.
also the game works a little better when i'm a client and not the host
I have a maxtor 120 gb on the xbox.
anyone can help me?

thanks
(sorry if i've writed somthing incorrect...my poor english Laughing )

I had the same problem and I am playing off my HD too until I found someone with good ping. Try checking who you connect with and find someone with good ping (less than 80 or so) and see if it sitll feels slow. I don't know why but it seems some people have no problems with lag from bad ping and some do. One very laggy game I was playing in the guy I was playing against said he had no lag. I hosted, he hosted, same thing.

i have had decent games with people with pings over 200 so i have no idea what it could be.....

what speed connection do you have? Might be a bandwith issue and not ping issue.

my connection is 640/256 and ping around 90-100 ms.
topspin is the only game seems to have problems; i've tried playing a lot of games and all works very well even if some clients have ping not so good (300-400 ms).

do u think could be my lan cable causes this problems? it's 17 meters long...i dont think cos i can upload files from pc to xbox at fast speed (9 MB/sec) but dont know what should i try Sad

it could be a bad cable but i would expect you would see the problem in other games too

the length shouldent matter
