How to create a LAN connection

I have an x-box that is connected to my motarola SB5100 cable modem using a crossover ethernet wire i can play on xlink kai but how do i create a LAN connection so that the pc picks up my xbox. Sad

well if my assumption is right that all you want to do is host then ..

in game on your xbox instead of going to join existing game or whatever there should be an option to create a game or host a game something along those lines anyway.

then in kai just set ur status to hosting and there shouldnt be a problem assuming you limit the size of the arena and/or the number of players allowed to join the game and have an appropriate upload speed.
