I can confirm this. Arcade does allow Tuned cars in US GT4 version.

how do u guys figure all this was ment to b played in ur house with ur friends its gona b fair , theres no reason to not let u use ur own cars . its the whole reason i have the game . and gt is the only reason i have any of the gt games at all.

whats fair in my own house is no ones dayum business.

If i wana cheat IN MY HOUSE. its my business. I dont want to cheat, but if the PS2 is in my house, im playing over LAN, sony shouldnt give a dayum what cars I WANA use AFTER i have bought my LEGIT copy of GT4

i was thinking about this and i think it makes sense for garage not to be available for LAN mode. cause if you think about it the exact car has to be in the other systems you're trying to play with. so if you don't have my car with my setup how can your system know what to display. it's really simple unless your ps2 can download the car i have before playing then maybe you can use it. they should have allowed an online TRADE ARENA where people can trade cars online so if they can download the car you're trading it shouldn't be difficult to use garage cars in lan mode.

Very good points but there really needs to be some type of upgrade to the game. Look at FFXI its a heavily mmopg(sp?) If you want to see a unique character go there everyone has their own special skill, item, level etc. I hope they implement this maybe with the Sony HD. I dont have the HD but if this would help in better LAN games Ill definately buy it.
