2 networking cards

ok i got the croos cable to conect my ps2 to my pc but im getting this messege

conection status

limited or no connectivity
you might not be able to access the internet or some
networks resourses, this problem ocurred because
the network did not assign a network address to the comp

from here what can i do i been reading everywhere and i cant find how to fix this my network reachable on kai say yes but can get the ps2 detected plz any help please

just connect the cable to the pc and the ps2 and start gt4 if u have it and you can make a config file using it. mine works fine. in order to get full connectivity to the pc you must be in lan mode on the ps2

What values do u put in for the COnfig file??????

i have the same thing happen i also have this problem on my network settings for the ps2 do i put auto. ip or do i type the one my comp uses and for dns do i put auto or not? i really need help

you use auto-detect when making the config file for the network adapter in game on gt4.

Auto-detect on the settings for the ip and everything else.

I am having the same problem plus my computer tells me that the network failed to create an ip adress for my ps2. What do I need to do.
