Xbox Halo2 Room UnJoinable.

Just downloaded the winXP client app again as i had to format last week, and i'm try'n to join in on some Halo2 action, but every time i click to join the room or add it to Fav's, i get randomed to some other room. Either Rainbow6, TimeSplitters2 or JediAcademy.

All other games can be seen and joined fine. Only Halo2 has this happening.

Anyone else got this oddity or is there a reason this is happening?

yeah, i'm having this problem too. Tin_Pu's link suggests that it's a scroll wheel issue, but i'm not using my scroll wheel when kai is open and i still can't get into halo 2. does anyone know if just having a mouse with a wheel is a problem? i'm a little unclear on this - esp since i have not experienced this problem in the 2-3 months i've been using kai (with the same mouse).

just for the record, i'm lovin' this app.

I don't think it is a mouse issue. I have been on kai for a decent amount of time now (Since about nov - dec) and have had the room unjoinable problem maybe 5 times MAX since then, but recently I have been having that problem quite frequently. Earlier this week i tried to get into some rooms about 30 times one night with no luck, last night out of trying 0 times I got into 2. I don't use the PC GUI, I use XBMC so I don't think that the scroll wheel is the problem.

well, halo 2 was still not working for me until about 10 minutes ago and i'm not sure that what i did really made a difference, but i'm not gonna question the voodoo. a new game had been added to the list and it caused halo 2 to be pushed down the games list until it was almost off the screen and i needed to use the slider bar to get at the controls. i just elongated the window so that halo 2 was totally visible and now i don't have a problem. see you all online Smile

You need to both RESIZE the window a little *AND* not use the scroll-wheel.
