OK. So the patch makes no difference as far as System Link and Kai are concerned. Hopefully, the rest of it will be the same.

the thing when it said people left and joined was cool but was a but big.

still wondering if i should sign up for live or not to get this?

any one else using this tell me who it works with you

The little name box that pops up is a good and bad thing....It shows just above the comfrimation, so if you are in a fire fight and a person talks it confuses you. There are SO many little things about this game that I notice...they obviously have horrible testers or threw it all together and said F it

You said you played with people who had the patch and did not have the patch. I was just saying that it made no difference if people had it. Obviously, maps will be a different story.

the maps wont make a difference cause the maps are loaded from the host.

just got the content from xbox live all it is is some silanced wepions new norther kerian skin with leaves and the woods part of train yard.....

but i like it

hey mattman, i believe it has been confirmed that it can work for someone without the live update. its been a while since i've played this game, and the new content may get me back to playing it one more time

I received the 1st patch and ftp'ed it over to my xbox. I don't have the 2nd one with the weapons and maps.

i kind of think the new maps suck i dont ever play railway valley and trainyard wasnt all that big to me to make it smaller so i think it sucks but i can live with it.

Does anyone know if there is a way to download this without Live or waiting for the Xbox Mag disk? I serv often and would like to get the update.

Sadly, they're not - all players need the patch to play on the new maps Sad

As Tizzo said, keep it clean in here. I'm happy for you to discuss / confirm ability to use the patch on a non-live xbox, but linking / trading the patch is an AUP violation. Please act accordingly Smile

oooooo man i hate xbox live the people are super loud and they suck
plus fro GR2 when you try and find a room it takes 5 mins for host to come up then you join it and find out the settings suck you yo back out wait 5 mins and do that like 20 times till you get tierd of it and just stay in a room
