First:
The little screen that comes up would have an error that said the download failed, then I came on here and found the above fix. I downloaded the files and copied the config text over the old, and saved, restarted.
Then:
The bar goes up to about a third of the little pop-up and gets to where it says "downloading system state.." then simply closes with no UI coming up. This happens when I use kaiLaunch.exe. I tryed with kaiUI.exe and the UI comes up fine, yet says that it is looking for the engine, and just sits there. I for some reason even tryed kaiEngine.exe and it said that pssdk_dll.dll is not a valid windows image. kaiCongif.exe gives the same error as Engine.
Is there something else I need to do to fix my problem?

Got to the download area and choose your operating system and redownload Kai. Then click on the icon that says "Start Kai"

Software firewall most likely. Disable all software firewalls and re-try.
