y is there ps2 support thats just completely STUPID, WHO THE HELL WOULD MAKE ONE? the logic is that ps2 online is FREE and to buy the adapter is 30 bux and once u have the adapter u play online, wat n00b would make a program when u can get less lag on ps2 online(oh wait kai made one )

my final word XBC = XBOX CONNECT and xbc and i know tod isnt a n00b and isnt gonna waste time making a program that u can get online 4 free

A few ppl have questioned the inclusion of PS2 support... here's why its in:

1.) Some stuff only has LAN, not online - TimeSplitters 2 being a big one.
2.) Some stuff has extra features in LAN mode which arent in online.
3.) DNAS checking is not needed on Kai - allowing legal backups to be used.
4.) Kai supports deep-resolution - allows Fastwebs / other people to play, where the official PS2 service does not work properly.

Oppps looks like they forgot to mention Gamecube too. Kai is too many steps ahead of the game. And XBC only does xbox and takes forever to load. I think the need to revamp the whole program before they make fun of others.

xbc takes money out of the developers pockets
they spend their money to keep it up and that why there is the option to buy xbc pro. xlink on the other hand doesnt require money to keep up so they dont have to make it cripple ware.

Ok XBC charge for there software... so they should they work hard to develop it, they should be rewarded.

If that money goes into keeping things running, or if it goes into there pockets it doesnt really matter.

We however have a different ethos and stand by our Free means Free priciples, we dont pay for hosting, but developers/admins have put there hands in there pockets to get this running.

If someone likes the software and wants to pay a nominal fee... like $5... then please donate it to one of the charities that we support.

I thought we wanted to forget the whole Kai vs. XBC thing? Threads like this aren't going to make the situation any better.

But aahhhh... the love of flaming eh... i'm sorry for my wishful thinking.

Heh.. all through the numerous flame wars / moaning with XBC, I've had 2 principles:

1.) Speak my mind.
2.) Don't stand for any crap.

I have no problem with anyone else doing the same.
