Hello, I am new to this and having bit of trouble. My buddy and I both have accounts and show as green in the chat section. His performance tab says he is auto configured successfully, mine does not. I tried starting a game as per the instruction below but my halo screen just says waiting for player to join and his says searching for game. I had DHCP running and turned that off just incase. But no luck. Thanks for your help.

one other thing, my xbox only shows up in "proformance" if I start it after starting Xlink, I have updated my WinPcap install. thanks

No, does not seem to change anything. Does it matter that I am booting to evox 1st then launch from there? Also I have added my PC to the DMZ so there should be no issues there.

I have my laptop in a docking station, pluged into my linksys WRT54G the xbox is also pluged into the router. There are 2 other pcs on the network. I will try the software diffrent PC. But it is a prety simple setup. I am not running anything wireless. the router is acting as NAT. If I run evox or XBMC i can get to the internet for what that is worth

ya if your console got it's ip from kai, it's not going to be able to see the internet.

But let me make sure i have your problem clear.

Your xbox says Autoconfig failed? and the status doesnt change?

also can you verify that the xbox is getting an ip from kai or not? if it is it should get an ip of 10.254.x.x

If it got that IP it should say sucsessfull
