XBOX MIC HELP

i got this problem, when i play on kai with my xbox
and i am trying to talk to them using an xbox official mic
there are some people that cannot hear me and other that can
the people that can't hear me can hear me in the pregame lobby but when we start the game, i suddenly cant hear them anymore
unplugging and replugging me mic didn't work
and exiting and rejoinin the server didn't work

could be lag problems.
could be your mic.
could be because in halo 2 only people around you can hear you.
