xlink on the xbox wont connect

Hey,
having problems connecting to xlink kai through the xbox. Can connect fine using a computer. My xbox is using XBMC as the main dash and therefore has Kai built into this.
The problem i encounter is when i log in i receive a message saying
"The servicde is not connected. Would you like to try reconnecting using xbmc?"
My username and password are entered correctly although im not sure what i should be entering in Engine I.P address.

I have seen similar problems in the posts but responses link to other posts which unfortunately no longer exist or have been moved.

FTP access to the xbox is fine and other internet features of xbmc function correctly. Any help would be much appreciated

well you should be putting the IP address of the PC that your a running the kai engine on in XBMC.

Another thing to check is to make sure you dont have any sort of firewalls running or Internet security that might stop XBMC from connecting to your PC.

i got the same problem, i can even stream music on my xbox but i can't get kai to work.....i got one of them WRT54G routers & i have updated it with the kai station application......i might be overlooking it but is there an instructional guide to setup my xbox to the my router that has the kai station update?.....i ain't been playin' on online since i bought it, help would be appreciated.......
