You'll notice I've not been banning the people who insist on continuing to moan about the tunnelling of DS on these forums - even after I said I would. I stopped bothering with the DS when it became apparent exactly how much work was involved in getting it tunnelled in a way in which anyone without a degree could manage. If this other crew can / are willing to support what they do - then hell - good luck to them - they're welcome to it - please, all DS users, go to their forums and help them... now Smile

I simply refuse to waste any more of my time on the "innovative" DS .. innovative? Yah.. a great way for Ninty to test out some new concepts for the GBA2 - while actually making the users *pay* for their research - and not even bothering to compensate them with *one* really good game... not one... The DS is a transparent, underdesigned attempt to steal some of Sony's thunder - essentially because the only "pillar" Ninty has left is the handheld market, and their marketing chief has been shaking like a shitting dog since he first clapped eyes on the PSP...

The reason most admins / mods seem to be "behaving badly" on here is because we've been around the block with fucking Nintendo more times than we like to discuss.. They just don't see the big picture, I'm afraid..

I won't be buying both, I'll only be buying the DS I'm afraid. I've had about 7 hours gameplay on each now and IMHO the DS is the better system. Maybe the games aren't as good looking, but they're still better imo.

Not much there for the DS that shouldn't be played online then... IMHO the DS has a lot more 'good games' to the PSP. And it depends how you class 'non-stupid' games, because some of the DS mini-games are stupid, but they are still fun!

Good to hear, I just find it odd that you kinda got it working and didn't release your findings or what hardware you used.

And how is the PSP innovative then? The DS is definately hands-down more innovative, touch screen and sound sensor is very innovative for a handheld. I agree there isn't *one* really good game, there is maybe 3 or 4 at the moment, so saying there is one would really be insulting th DS.

I wouldn't mind TD releasing the code he got done on DS tunelling as he stated previously, so that some "stupid" people can play their "not-good games" . Or atleast flat out saying he wont, ever, and saying very expressly why.

the thing is the code is usless for people who dont know how to code (ie stupid people) and the device you need to connect the ds to the pc isnt sold in the US. I doubt the DS will be tunneled by anyone.

who cares if "playing nintendo makes you a little kid". if this state ment is true im the biggest little kid there is. Everything here is opinion. Fact and opinion are 2 different things. Everyone in this thread are acting like "little kids". (and im not saying that everyone is acting like a nintendo player, im saying you arent acting mature enough for your ps2, xboxs and psps.)

I will admit the PSP is a better system than the DS, Hardware wise.

Hardware wise, it's not even debatable. The question is whether it is worth the extra price (it's more than the GameCube launched at, certainly more than I paid for my GC), and which you'd have more fun on, and for ME that's the DS.

People who think that everyone who plays on a console they enjoy are babies, well, those people are just idiots.

I aren't really liking some of the mod's around here, the langauge is terrible! There really is no need for such foul langauge! Can we sort this out? Also stop pulling machines down, all consoles have the ups and downs about them.... ACCEPT IT!

You don't ever hear XBOX user complaining because of games that are XBOX Live only, and they're are plenty. You take what you can get. I much rather Team XLINK work on the things such as orbitals and suppport for what we have now than to take the eBay approach or like other companies and try and fix or add things diverting more attention away from what we have here already. And what we have here is a great service. I know i'll get flamed for this statement as well, and I have seen the DS's, but everyone I know with one is 10 years old ? I guess I could be wrong, I just thought the majority is children buying these things? And if your adult and you love your DS, don't mean it in a bad way, but apparently you may have to go elsewhere for online supports, and what's the problem with that? Thanks again XLINK! Well hey, I know at least 6 different people at my college with DS's (LAN party fridays were oh so much fun...), and not one has shown up with a PSP yet. Most if not all are over 20.

I also know a teen with a DS and two kids with DS's.

Frankly, when you're just sick and tired of hearing the same old whining kids (yes, they have to be kids, since what mature adult posts the sort of threads I'm talking about), you'll see why we have such an "attitude".
