Have been a subscriber for XBL for a long time now, and I'm wondering can I still use XLINK even if I have LIVE? If so, how? thanks in advance. |

sure, being on Live will not affect you at all.
If your XBox is on your network you will be able to play on Kai.
however some of the automatic Live! updates may cause you compatibility problems connecting to other players.
If they do cause you a problem they can always be removed, and when you next go onto Live! they will be downloaded again. |

Yes, LIVE and XLink are totally different services.
Just think of XLink (and all other tunneling softwares) as playing on system link. The only difference is that the tunneling software (XLink) extends the system link to other people on the internet.
To use XLink, your XBox has to be networked with yout PC, since you have LIVE, you might have this set up already. If so, then once Kai Evo7 is released, you can just install it, join an 'arena' from within Kai, then boot up your game of choice

If you install Kai while you have a subscription to Xbox Live, your computer will explode. Seriously.
