How do people make pics appear in their in game name? Does it have to do with a modded xbox or a cheat device?

Yeah I saw a smiley face in one. They're definately hex-editing something? But what - I wouldn't know.. I had a look in TDATA / UDATA to no avail.

I do this quite often for me and my buddies and it's done with a hex editor and then re-signing the file. It definitely makes finding a game easier when hosting in Americas due to the weird symbols.

A question I'm wondering is if you guys are gonna keep allowing non-standard symbols used in names??

While I don't cheat, I do know there is a way to hex edit your profile so you have like an instant reload time. Plus some people have called me a cheater just for having a hacked symbol in my name.

I hate the sybols in people's names. Especially the weapon symbols. The other day I played against someone with the sniper rifle as a name. Everytime he killed someone or got killed, I thought I was standing ontop of the sniper rifle because his name would appear on the screen. So Then I would press the button trying to pick up the weapon. Very very annoying!

I would love it if kai took the stance that everyones xbox player names had to be identical to their kai tag names. I know this would be a huge PITA to enforce.

yeah that would be better but there is no way to inforce that. But i have friends that arent signed up for kai that play with me.

if you did that it would b like XBL...if the SYMBOLS are wuts annoying then y dont u just ask for people to not put the SYMBOLS in there name not make there name their kai tag cause like lowbrass said when u have 2 ppl on one box its stupid for them to have the same name like on XBL
