How do i get my network to detect my console!!! plz help

My computer is not detecting my system and that means i cant play online... so can someone plz help!!

i just bought a xbox 1 day ago and havint played sys link yet, but how do i set up my xbox i hav a smc router and cable modem it says for me 2 conect directly in the cable modem or is there some sort of way of using a router. plz help

Plug your computer, your xbox, and your cable modem into your router. Then run KAI on your computer.

NO- how do i get my xbox setup for kai like the net settings,when i try 2 set it up it does all the auto conecting but when it gets 2 the dns setup it fails

Umm, sounds like you've gone to XBox Live. If you haven't worked it out by now (maybe should've done some reading on the website while you were banned), Kai uses XBoxes system-link features, not Live.

Putting the XBox into the modem causes one huge problem - what the fuck does the PC do if it's not connected to the network / Internet? Isn't that what Kai runs on.. a PC? Question

Put XBox into router, PC into router, Cable modem into Router's WAN port. Use DHCP or Static IP addressing, should work OK.
