Game reset

Is there a way to get out of the game and back into XBMC?? without resetting the whole xbox.

well i'm guessing since you have xbmc you have a modded xbox .. your in luck, its called IGR , In Game Reset .. pull the left + right triggers and push back + start all at the same time .. this should work assuming your xbox is set up correctly..

oh and unless you have xbmc as your dashboard the IGR will just go back to whatever dash you load first .. i'd switch to xbmc..

well when I press left trigger right trigger and back and start it just resets the game?? I have evox as my defualt dashboard I don't know how to change it?

ok so I've changed my dasboard to xbmc now I have the latest build now for some reason It still goes back to my game instead of dashboard but I think it's b/c i have x2 4983 bios and it has an in game reset so it's using that instead of the xbmc or maybe i have no idea what I'm talking about. hope someone can help me out

It's because the game's in the DVD-tray. IGR is just reloading the DVD. IGR isn't as useful when you load your games via DVD since you gotta get up off your ass to change the DVD anyway..

oh so since I use dvds instead of games on my x-box I'm kinda fucked. I was hoping there was a way how you restart and not load the dvd so that if i wanted to go to a new arena or something I could just do that without getting up turning the x-box on and off

From your dash, disable Autorun DVDs..
That'll stop the DVD from launching when you reboot using IGR.

^^ That was my next point. Not sure how successfully it is, should work though.
