Please, refer to http://teamxlink.co.uk/wiki/doku.php?id=evo7:port_forwarding
When you run Kai, and it detects that your network is not reachable, it will close down the UI but leave the engine running, and a baloon tip will appear telling you to check your port-forwarding.
Note: if your Operating System does not support baloon tips eg. Windows 98 and earlier, you will just notice the UI disappear. If you look in the System Tray, you should still see the Kai Engine icon, which indicates that your network is not reachable.
How do you fix this? Port-forward, or fix your port-forward. It's as simple as that.
How do you port-forward? Well, you shouldn't be asking this, since it's all stuff you should've read before. So go back and double, triple check everything with the port-forwarding guide, and IF AND ONLY IF you try but cannot succeed, post a request for help in the General Help forum. |
