Hey, a couple nights ago, I managed to get 3 xboxs online at once. Does anyone know if this can be done with XBC, or XBL for that matter. Becasue if they can't, then it is definately one major plus for using xlink. |

you can have several xboxes sharing the same connection running through one router onto xbc or xlink and multi box compression is for this but i think if you have a good internet connection you wont need it. I and my friends have 4 boxes through a switch into a wireless network through a pc onto xlink or xbconnect and we can all join independenly into the game cool!!! |

Ya, i got that... What does it do?
Supposively compacks the packets into 1 small thing to send. Does it actully do anything? pa, I haven't been able to tell. Maybe someone with a slower connection can tell.... i have a350 up and 2567 Down... (yes, and that is with AOL) |

Hey, I'm very new to XLink just a simple (and may be stupid) question. When in multi boxes, can each box playing independent game in one internet connection? |

No, some have got it to work although not for very long. You can only have one engine per IP that I know of. |

as far as i understand, the ui tells the engine where to go, and the engine can only be at one place at a time, so multiple uis dont work either |

Another cool thing is if someone is hosting a game in kai and xbc, people from both tunnels can join and play on that same host's game. Had, someone do it back a few months ago. Nothing special, but I thought it was cool that I got to play people from xbc without having to install their software (which I don't know how they can call it "soft"ware when I hear it's so hard on your resources) |
