i dont kno if this has been said already

but it would be cool if Evo VIII allowed u to view your pm's without having to quit the game and leave the arena to go to messenger mode....cuz that gets really annoying sometimes

Any change for a teaser screenshot? A nice ''it's coming along, for those with patience Xlink Kai 8 will unfold soon'' would also do nice.

Spelling and grammar fixed, shouldn't have had that third glass (why is glass spelled with two s's in English, anyone care to explain that?) wine.

It's spelled Glass instead of Glas because they had to make an Ass out of OpenGL.

If it was "glas" it would sound like "glaz".

Not true, Lord of the rings clearly showed us that the're mountains. I've never seen one myself but I'm sure they exist.

Yeah that is a bit of a problem. It would be a really productive feature. Im really excited for 8. I wonder if I should buy an xbox w/ halo 2. There are rumors that xbox 360 isnt backwards compatable, so you might not be playing halo 2 on 360. Some say that the 360's HD will have halo 2.5 on it (this i dont think will be true).

Not sure where you are getting your missinformation from. But M$ has already announced backwards compatibility for the most popular games. Over time they will probably include all games. But you can bet your bottom dollar that Halo 1 and 2 will be playable on the 360 out of the box.

I would love to see an auto boot/ban feature. Picture this:

You are hosting a room for Halo 2. You click on auto boot and you set the boot for 175 ping. So when ever someone joins your game and they have an average ping of 175 or higher, they will automatically get the boot. Saving your game from lag.

I have 768 upload, and set my rooms for a max of 8 people. And usually once or twice during play I have to get up and walk to my PC, which is a few rooms away from the TV, and I have to boot people that join my game with 250+ Pings. Its a PITA.

that is i'm not very sure is good... i remember playing XBC and i sometime get kicked even thought i was playing an U.K. server. sometimes it can't initiate the ping correctly so soon as you hit the given amount ping limit you get booted, even though your connection to the server's connection is fine. this is one thing pi$$ed me off using XBC, maybe in Kai we can set the boot limit to say 3 boot. So if it detect you got high ping it's give you warnings, then 3 warning you get auto-booted. Confused

It would be nice to have this function, we can always fine tune in while beta testing (if the limit is to strict)
