I am using a wireless 802.11g router to connect my computer and xbox to the internet. I am not using the router's wireless capabilities. Both are connected using ethernet cables. When I start kai my xbox's ip does not change and thus i cannot connect to any other users or see games at all. Any suggestions?

Huh?
Make sure you have the latest firmware for the router.
Also you will need to do a port forward to your pc running kai.
They call it a Virtual Server in the routers config.
