I can see arenas in xbmc fine, though my bandwidth is kinda high, i guess, around 1000ms, nevertheless i can see the arenas, and when i hit "play" in xbmc, the game boots, i go into system link, and i cant see any games. I really wanna play some chaos theory...someone please help me. Oh, and I am running the game through my college's network, but not at peak times, and im pretty sure they dont restrict any ports.

I'm having the exact same problem. Once I get into system link nothing shows up. I'm running the engine from my laptop which is wireless, if that makes any difference.

Had you followed all the instructions that say not to use XBMC until you have successfully played games via the PC UI only, you would find your answer since you would end up (hopefully) realising you use the Quick Start Guide. The Quick Start Guide would explain to you the challenges of using wireless network cards, you would realise you fall into this category, and you would not bump up someone's thread from April 2005 - not to mention that you may have the same OUTCOME, but you do not have the same PROBLEM. Don't confuse the two.

I use this analogy all the time, but think about a simple thing like, say, you can't view any webpages. It's an outcome. What's the problem? Could be:

1. Your ISP is down.
2. Your cable is unplugged.
3. Your network settings are incorrect.
4. Your router needs a reset.
5. You're not connected to the Net.

etc etc etc.

Hope you see my point.

Since the original poster hasn't come back in over 2 months, I'm going to lock this thread.
