Is your network reachable?

Yes

Are you using a port-forward?

Yes

Is your console being detected?

Yes

Brief description of your network setup (include model numbers):

I have my network setup exactly as descriped in the guide. Using a Micrsoft MN-700 base station and I have tried using a NetGear WG111 and a Micrsoft MN-710 wireless card.

Do you use a software firewall? What brand? Have you made any changes to it?

no

Operating System?

Xp

Problem description?

Basically everything seems to be working fine. PSP is found and configured, I am reachable, under my name in the arena it says "1 Sony". The only problem I have which I think also relates to me not finding or being able to host and be found, games. The wireless connection connects then disconnects, over and over. Won't stay constant. Any other computer that connects to the wireless works fine. So I know its not a router issue. Also people have been succesful with my router. Anyone have any suggestions?

I have the same card, but mine works. Sorry but I don't know what your problem is. Maybe you have a weak signal? Is it dropping when you are next to your card or when you are 3 rooms down?

Alos turn off kaiPAT you dont need that on and try again.

Ok I turned off PAT, set the ports to 0 in the config, and set myself to DMZ. Everything is working fine. But I can still not see any games or be seen.

Do I have my network setup wrong? I know the guide shows to use a comp and a laptop....but i dont think its necessarily necessary...here is my setup

- psp connected to netgear wg111 (adhoc) (10.0.0.1)

- wg111 network card connected to computer

- computer connected to lan card

- lan card connected to microsoft mn-710 wireless router (192.168.2.70)

- microsoft mn-710 connect to cable modem (x.x.x.x)

Can anyone shed some light on why I can't see any games? I have seen other people be successful with this wireless card

Give this a try.

Quote:

Run regedit and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters and change IPEnableRouter to 1 and reboot.

remove the 30000 deepport! Razz

Can't belive i missed that one.
Also make sure to give your PC Wireless NIC an IP (10.0.0.1) so it will establish the connection faster.
