probs with different region games

hi all

after finally getting my psp connected to kai i cant wait to play but then i run into the prob of different region games not working in multiplayer mode, is there any way of telling what version of the game a host has before you join ? on that not any one with the following games (us versions, region 1) ridgeracer, coded arms and wipeout pure that fancy a game let me know.

Region 1:

WipEout pure ---> (usually on Sn, M, F, St mornings ... 6:30a to 2p Eastern)
Coded Arms --> I challenge u to a sniper match (usually on around 6:30p to 1:30a Eastern)

Sorry, but i don't think there is any way to actually find the region of the host's game before you actually join, other than just asking. In most cases, different region games are incompatible, yet I hear reports of them being compatible. Go figure. Rolling Eyes

In most cases, you are right... except Coded Arms. Coded Arms is known to be compatible across regions, but everything else out to date isn't.
