OK, ever since the DS came out, the GBA wireless adapter has pretty much died. In fact, the only GBA game I know of that uses the wireless adapter is Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen. So, here's my question.
Since FireRed and LeafGreen are lan enabled, due to that union room thing where 40 people can connect or something. Is there any possible way to capture the WiFi waves and transfer them across the internet? I mean, it would be nice to actually get my moneys worth out of my adapter.
Is it possible? Does anyone know what it would take to transfer that kind of data? It would be pretty cool if it could be done.
Your input would be appreciated. Thanks. |

isn't the wireless adapter for the gba just using radio (FM) waves, and not actually wifi? or is that just the cheapo ones? |

I'm not quite sure... I just thought that if they could be transfered across the web, their existance might prove to actually be useful. |

All the GBA wireless adapters use radio waves as does the wavebird. If you look in the instructions of either the GBA wireless adapter, GB player or the wavebird (cant remember when) it says do not use the GBA wireless adapter with a wave bird because you will experience interfearance. They arent tunnel-able. If your a pokemon fan just wait for Pokemon Pearl and Diamond. They will be on the ds and more might be online. |
