Yay, another LAN game. Let's hope they make it more latency-tolerant than the others.
You know, you gotta wonder if, with Crash Tag Team Racing and Geist coming out, Warp Pipe might regret discontinuing their LAN tunneler in the event that either of the two games doesn't work already. Heh, maybe they'll try to restart the project. I doubt it, though.
Anyway, nice to see another LAN game coming out (if this doesn't pull a Super Monkey Ball 3 [never be seen again] or a Star Fox Assault [LAN functionality mysteriously removed]). |

I got confirmation from Matt Casamassina (IGNCube). Geist does not contain a LAN mode.
"I think the author of the GameSpy piece assumed there was LAN because you can play with up to eight "players." In this case, that means four human players and four bots."
My assumptions exactly. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. |
Sorry guys, looks like GameSpy was high on something. |

Damn, I'd really like to get back on Gamecube considering I abused it ever since I got an Xbox and PSP, but it seems I'm not into it's LAN games. Thanks for the updates though fellas.
