XBMC & KAI Probs

I'm just wondering if anyone else has noticed random issues using kai in xbmc. I noticed problems with the 8/12/05 build of xbmc and newer. For instance, sometimes I cannot leave/enter/create arenas, voice chat sometimes will not work (only in xbmc, games work fine). Eventually everything will work fine after rebooting a few times and then the problems will appear again out of the blue... It could be my xbox/router/pc, etc.. but Ive had good luck up until this point...

anyone else see these types of problems?

i don't have those problems , well maybe the voice, it froze a few times when i tried it and have never tried it since .. the biggest problem i have with xbmc is that u pretty much never join chat the rooms .. i've posted the chat room issue a few times with really no reply .. i must be the only one who owns a USB keyboard ..

do u have a software firewall ? tried port forwarding kai ?

im using the winxp firewall.. havent tried port forwarding yet..
over the weekend i paid close attention to what was happening... most of the time pressing the A button will act like i hit the right trigger..(tried both a standard xbox controller and a wireless logitech). whenever that happens i can never change arenas... voice doesnt work either.

after rebooting a few times it eventually starts to work..

could port forwarding have an effect on what im doing?
im using a cheap linksys 4 port wired router.. not sure of the model cause im not at home.

im compiling xbmc with the xbmc toolkit, btw.

i thought i was the only one with the kai chat problems.. its not going to get fix for awhile i think.
