i remember some1 saying that devs don't care about us..
well hes wrong! devs will listen aslong as we do the bitchin |
Yeah i remember too.
it was me who said the dev's didnt care about us....
However it was also me that pointed out over a million people are registered under xbc & kai and that even if only 1 in 10 of those didnt buy lockdown because of the lack of voice etc. ubi-soft where throwing away alot of money
about $5,000,000 to be exact
so i'd like to think all those who made an appearance on the lockdown forum helped ubi- in deciding to make a U-turn on the voice decision, which they declared as "a microsoft requirement that ubi-soft had chosen to include"
good shit |

My-oh-my this is a fun game on sys-link!
Alot of things to do in it. It has all the elements to keep it popular for along time too. |

Heheh. Mean! I was just thinking that was really the only cheesy thing they actually did to this game. It is cool though. Like picking up a weapon or armor. There is a definite advantage while in predator mode.
I personally like hang gliding, but wish I had a parachute. |

I think this game is soooo much fun the map editor is sick I love it the booby traps really adds a lot to the game as well. Plus you can vote on the map you play in a room which is nice. The only thing is that the vehicles are hard to manuver. All and I all I give it 2 thumbs up
By the way that ringing noise some of you are talking about happen when you are blasted at close range to simulate the ringing in your ear when you are close to a gun shot |

Ya the predator power-up is a little cheesy, but I mean the game mode called "predator". It's mercs vs. predators (at least a 3:1 ratio to be fair) where the mercs have to attack a base and the predators have to defend it. Predators can respawn, but mercs have to kill a predator to have a buddy respawn.
Didn't notice the hang glider..what map is that on |

By the way MF Acid it was pretty cool playing with you man. glad you like the map I put together Lemurian islands aka Sniper island. The one that cisco made was really good as well. I set up a 6 vs. 6 Team Chaos tournament for this Saturday. I think the Halo players will have an advantage over the GR2 teams, but I guess we'll find out... |

This pleases me. Voice in syslink is something Jesus would have wanted - and not to do it is to spit in Gods face.
Well done to everyone who bitched at Ubi - you might think it makes no difference, but I wager that it does.
