kai works on pc, not xbmc

this is a recent problem. i've been off kai a few months, but i fired it up again to play battlefront 2. well, i run the engine on my pc and i don't get any notifications about the status of the orbital sync. does it no longer tell you? if i run xbmc it says the service is not connected and offers to connect, but fails.

if i run kai in messenger mode on my pc it works fine.

anybody have an idea why it would work in messenger mode pc only, but not through xbmc? it's configured and i've tried 2 versions of xbmc. of course, kai is up to date as well.

problem solved. had to reassign the host ip. thanks.

i have this problem still and iv tried changin the engine ip any other ideas
