Hmmm i highly doubt that Sony is not going to go with any online options for the PS3.
As always, Wait and see. |

You mean there won't be any online games for the PS3 at all?
That's a big disadvantage over the Xbox360. |

Hehehe... well, I think PSP is a good indicator of the way things are headed for Sony. Clearly, they want to embrace geographically autonomous multi-player gaming.

Yeah i dont think if they have one it wont be like live. If anything they will leave it up to the devs to work on the online services for each game seperatly. I expect devs will beef up their current services ( like keeping the servers active cough XIII) and add cool things like advanced stat tracking similar to xbox live. Its so cool to be able to login in to bungie and check where u were killed, who u were killed by, and what weapon u were killed by. If anything is gonna be revolutionary (besides the Nintendo Rev) it will be Xbox Live. |

Sony already hinted online gameplay at E3 2005, and as TPP said, they are not THAT stupid as their fanboys are.
i don't think it will be a LIVE beater, but since there are more ppl will get PS3 (Sony has most of the gaming market shares and fanboys i.e. general public)so having any standard online will be even more advantage for Sony. They are not gonna throw away opportunity like that |

They have the majority of the shares in the home console market but not in handhelds. Nintendo owns the most because of their home console, and 3 handhelds. There is no doubt about it that sony has the highest selling console world wide. |
