I've been hearing that a fair amount of people have been experiencing various errors from their Xbox 360s, i.e freezing, error messages. I was wondering if anyone here that bought one was having the same issues. |

Yeah, I have this weird problem where everytime I try to boot my XBMC disk it errors out saying it cannot be loaded. Hope this is fixed soon.

LOL.. I did run into a problem with Forza.. It froze up on me after the first lap. I'll stick to playing it on the original Xbox - I really didn't notice any improvement in the graphics, and if anti-aliasing was on I sure couldn't tell. |

Very smart, actually. They don't hate the consoles, they will do this for all three (PS3 and Revolution and 360). They raised $430 by XBox haters, then bought a 360, smashed it, and kept the difference, making a tidy little profit. They're probably making tons in advertising, too. |

It is a sad sad day for Torontonians everywhere. Really what a disgrace.
You know what a lot of people who really want one will not be able to afford it and these pilons just take a perfectly good system and smash it. Well that just sucks.
There is just another gift that some deserving kid won't get this xmas.

Hmm... I dunno... mine was on for 7 hours today with no issues. Mind you, it's pretty cold in Toronto these days so perhaps my ambient temperature is keeping it it alive.
I keep my 360 in the standing upright position. I wonder if that has anything to do with it as well? Just a thought.

Now that you and Gunslinger have 360's, I'm awaiting the arrival of GR3 to get the gold team/blue team battles rejuvinated. Though I hope to god they've included at least 2 maps TD likes this time around. |

I leave mine lying flat, so it don't look so retarded.
I don't have any problems with mine either, but.....it's in a below grade family room on an open air rack and it's pretty chilly in Wisconsin too. |

Kinda funny that one of the solutions to the overheating problem is to "suspend the PSU in mid air", when I remember reading in the 360 manual published to the net that you should not suspend it in the air
This is why I like getting our XBoxes later, most of the problems are sorted before we have to deal with them. |

tbh i bought my Xbox day 1 and PS2 2 weeks after it's released... apart from the PS2 laser issue (which was my fault, as i tweaked it to play backups ) but never had issue with first batches of consoles and later consoles are always "cheap" version of hardware, as manufacturer finds a cheap solution to manufacturer of their products later in console's life.
oh re X360, before they had problems with the artifacts in them wallmart kiosks but now it still happening in home consoles.

Yeah i played one at a walmart and it was messed up. I could navigate to to where the games were and then it would freeze.
I saw a report on my local news channel saying that the x360 is malfunctioning and microsoft is getting many complaint calls about it. Microsoft said for them to take it back to the place where you baught it. You know that when they take it back they will just tape it up and re sell it again also even if they do take it back there wont be a x360 to exchange it with because most stores are already sold out. 1 walmart here has 6 and they are gone (small walmart store) and one of the super walmarts had 46 and they are all gone.
It seems to me like microsoft rushed it into stores a little too soon before it was ready(IMO). This might discourage any potential buyers of the X360 of getting one now. As of today there hasnt been a recall on the console. I doubt there will be one because that will tell the public they made a bad product causing consumers to not buy.
(i wonder how many X360's out there are malfunctioning?) |

Hehe, I don't mind making some money on the PS2/PS3 like that. |
