XBMC and Kai

OK, Im trying to connect to kai using XBMC,I have already connected and played using PC. I've set tag,password etc. in XBMC and made sure the kai engine was running on the PC but I keep getting "the service is not connected" messege.
Here is my Network setup: cable modem from charter pluged into lynksys router port 1, xbox plugged into port 2, and pc plugged into port 3. My ISP asigns dhcp ip. Once again I have been able to play kai through my pc with this config. My XBMC network settings are set to dhcp. I also noticed I dont get rss feeds, and I made sure that was enabled in the settings too. I know this has been covered but all the stuff I've read is for people who have a static ip. Sad

Also tried to force ip in xbmc kai settings by going to pc and typing ipconfig /all at command prompt and getting the ip from there. Still not working, can someone help please.

u need to go into ur settings in xbmc my programs kai ....make sure u put the correct ip adress for the engine or it will not detect kai engine.also make sure ur kai settings is setup to execpt a dashboard ui and set the engine to never close or when u try to play u will loose ur engine
