I'm getting disconnected from Kai every 10 minutes or so. It started on Wednesday (2005-03-09) for me. I hadn't played on Kai for a couple of weeks so it might have been occuring before then too. I'm running the Mac kaid 7.0.0.4b from the command line. Everything has been running fine, but now every 10 minutes or so I get:
Code: |
ORBSTREAM: Orbital stream lost
Broken pipe |
This afternoon, it looked like the entire Asia/Oceania room was dropped, because when I re-started kaid only one person was left there (and you could see other people re-joning too). Usually this problem only affects myself (or others). I doubt this problem is Mac-related because it seemed to affect everyone before. Perhaps an Orbital is having trouble?
Edit: Oh, I should add that I'm in Adelaide, Australia, and so Kai's connecting me to the Perth Orbital. |

Just to try to track it down: Is this happening to any non-Mac users? |

So are you saying this might be due to too much pressure on the orbs? |
