I'm not exactly understanding XLink Kai's connection to the dashboard. Could anyone explain it? |

Certain dashboard will soon have the ability to 'remote control' the XLink Kai client from your XBox. That means that once Kai is running on your PC, you can go sit in your seat and never get up again, since you can navigate the Kai Arenas from the XBox.
You don't have to have this to use XLink Kai, it's just a cool addition for those with modded XBoxes that would like to use it
EDIT: I can't remember hearing which dashboards will have Kai integration, but Avalaunch is one, and XBMC already had support during the final XLink Kai beta stage. Three may be others too, your best bet would be to check the forums, I expect there would be an announcement made about it |

the current xlink kai evo7 doesnt work with XBMC (yet).
The entry in the xml file of XBMC is ment for xlink kai beta6 (and yes, you do need to fill it in if you want to use it )
But anyway, it doesnt work yet so dont bother trying |

The beta6 worked great with XBMC, it should be updated within the week. |

FYI: I Just read in the Avalaunch forum on xbox-scene that they should be relaeasing they're Kai supporting dash June 1. I hope it's not just speculation, but a general rule is "it's done when it's done." |
