I am able to see my friend in my contacts, and his ping. He is having the same problem though of not being able to see the Xbox in performance, before my xbox did show up there but said unable to auto config.
I've already tried removing winPcaps and reinstalling with reboots.
Thanks in advance for any help.
PS the D-Link router has wireless, but I'm not using it for anything except a roommates laptop |

I'm not using the wireless, they just happen to be wireless routers, is that still a problem?
I went through FAQ again and had trouble implementing this:
2.4 How do I configure my firewall to play with XLink Kai?
• For XBox users, allow the IP address 0.0.0.1 full access on both UDP and TCP.
• Also for XBox users, allow port 3074 full access.
Do I need to port forward yet? I thought Kai seeing my xbox should have nothing to do with port forwarding? Please help a little more, thanks. |

I port forwarded as in the FAQ, but which IP do I use the computer's (I used this) or the xbox's, because it still isn't being seen.
Also, does my xbox need to be in some other state (with a game started) other than having it at the evox dashboard (where it is now)?
Thanks |

Forward to the PC's IP address (the one that's running Kai).
Also, put a system-link game in your XBox, go to the system-link menu once it's loaded, and just have it "Search for games" or even Host a game (even though nobody will be joining it just yet). This will initiate system-link packets to get sent out across the network and be detected by your PC. |

Thanks I got it to see the box, using wolfenstein.
Now I need to find a game that others are on, that I own (loaned Halo to a friend), so I can test it.
Thanks again |
